As we are a small company it is always a surprise to us when people ring up to ask if they can come to see us.  The Indian Owners Club were going to have a meeting just 15Km down the road and rang up months ago to ask if they could visit, which was great.  As we didn't hear from them again we thought that perhaps they had forgotten, but then on Saturday afternoon we heard the huge roar of dozens of Indians, a line of bikes that stretched from one end of the main road through town to the other.  The styling of these bikes, a half a century on, is as modern as you could wish for, and will probably never go out of style.  A few giveaways reveal their age, but really only add to the charm, like the gearshift location next to the tank.
